More Than a Radio Program

A Platform for Authors

Writers love to write -- but authors need to sell. When you discover the joy of writing, you are a writer. When you decide to sell your work, you become an author. It is not an easy transition. Writing -- although a solitary endeavor -- is fun. Being an author can also be fun, but it is also a harrowing process. There are so many new skills to learn: marketing, public speaking and even video production.

With that in mind, Joy on Paper has developed a unique way to help authors promote their books. We don't forget them. Months -- even years -- after an author has been a guest on Joy on Paper, we continue promoting their books.

Why? Because I know that the most important way for an author to be noticed is by word of mouth. Authors need their name to be recognized -- it is their brand -- it is what brings readers back every time an author has a new release. So we make free promo videos and audio reviews, we include free advertisements in all our promotional flyers, we provide free links to an author's website in our newsletters, and so much more.

It is my way of saying thank you to my guests -- and to encourage readers to get to know their favorite authors and to discover new favorites.

Cheers!

"Radio Rita" - Rita Moreau

Rita Moreau - known as "Radio Rita" around here -- is the talented author of the Mary Catherine Mahoney cozy mystery series that features a former IRS agent with psychic powers and a collection of memorable characters, including a hilarious bevy of nuns.

When she is not writing, she is reading. So it is fun for her to take a break and do these special reviews to help author's promote their books.
