Daryl Wood Gerber is as delightful as her latest Fairy Garden Mystery: A Hint of Mischief.

It was so much fun to talk to her. It brought back memories of my real fairy garden when I lived in England — a rose garden where I had 36 varieties of roses. It was beautiful and I must admit that I think I caught sight of some fairies dancing around in the morning dew. I liked to think of them as Irish — becaus that is my favor accent. But looking a back on it, they were probably Welsh tegs, because Mr. Priddy, my gardener was Welsh.

This is one of my favorite interviews! Daryl’s writing is enchanting and engaging. I love the location of Carmel-by-the-Sea, where I spent many happy weekends. And it was fun to get caught up with characters that seem like old friends – Courtney, who owns the fairy garden shop and all the other characters — especially the adorable fairy, Fiona.

From Agatha Award-winning author Daryl Wood Gerber, the third in an enchantingly whimsical series featuring Courtney Kelly, the owner of a fairy-gardening and tea shop in Carmel, California. It’s a special place brimming with good vibes and the kind of magical assistance its proprietor will need to prepare for an old sorority sister’s birthday bash awhile solving a puzzling murder.
