Carol J Post – Bodyguard for Christmas

Body Guard for Christmas
It was so much fun to talk to Carol J. Post and Lorelei Confer about their books for Christmas.
I interviewed them together, so I have done a page for each of them.
Last month Carol invited me to speak at a meeting of the Tampa Chapter of Romance Writers of America. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to meet so many talented and enthusiastic authors. February is romance month -- so I intend to invite many of them to join me in the studio to talk about the JOY of writing romance fiction.
Carol's Christmas book, Bodyguard for Christmas, is a genre that is perfect for this time of the year -- a Christian suspense cozy. Not only is it a very engaging mystery -- in the Mary Higgins Clark style -- it offers inspiration and hope with its message of love and faith.
I was immediately intrigued by the title of this the third book in a series about a three friends: Bryce, Tanner, and Colton. In this story, we find Colton Gales, an Assistant District Attorney, facing a threat against himself and his son. In need of protection, he gets a live-in bodyguard, Jasmine McNeal, a former military police officer. I love books with children -- so often MHC has a child in her stories -- and you will fall in love with Liam, whose life depends on Jasmine being able to do her job.
It is a heartwarming story that is a real page turner -- Carol builds up the suspense and keeps the action going from the first few pages to the very end.
About the Author
Carol J. Post writes Christian inspirational books that are fast-paced romantic suspense stories. Her books have been nominated for a RITA® award and an RT Reviewers’ Choice Best Book Award.
She lives in sunshiny Central Florida with her husband, who is her own real-life hero, and writes her stories under the shade of the huge oaks in her yard. Besides writing, she works alongside her music minister husband singing and playing the piano. She enjoys sailing, hiking, camping—almost anything outdoors. Her two grown daughters and grandkids live too far away for her liking, so she now pours all that nurturing into taking care of a fat and sassy black cat and a highly spoiled dachshund.
