One of the JOYS of my life is that I get books before most other people!!! I was always the type of reader to order books in advance — I love to get first editions on the first day of release. So it is really a thrill for me to now receive books — like Daniel Silva’s The Other Woman — months before all of you (haha!!!).
Daniel Silva has been one of my favorites ever since I read An Unlikely Spy, which was a WWII spy thriller. Since my Dad was in D-Day, I have always been particularly interested in that period of time before the invasion — and An Unlikely Spy is based on the real-life attempt by England and America to confuse the Germans about the plans for D-Day. Getting ready for this interview, I pulled the book out and was going to just glance at it — but it is so good that I found myself re-reading it. If you haven’t read it, you really should.
