I haven’t been getting very many romances lately. For many years I received a half dozen a week, so. I was pleasantly surprised that Cather Gigante-Brown’s book CRY OF SILENCE turned out to be such a pleasant love story. Sure it has a dystopian feel to it–shades of the great old television series, Outer Limits. But, all things considered, it is a great read.
Catherine is an award-winning author who has created a fascinating scenario that is disturbing, but also filled with hope. The main characters, Jenn and Nik, who left Brooklyn for a trip across the country, find that their world has changed. How they handle it makes for a great story. Read the first chapter and you will be hooked.
A Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalyptic Romance, Cry of Silence is an odyssey of survival and hope as Jenn and her husband Nik struggle to make their way through the dystopian landscape in the wake of the Aftermath.
