I love talking to Crispin Boyer! From the minute I read Book #1 in this wonderful Zeus the Mighty series, I knew that he was a very special writer. I can always tell when a writer is having fun–and Crispin has embraced this cast of characters he has developed to bring exciting mythological stories alive for kids. I can now count on one hand the number of books in this series and I hope to be counting on two hands and all my toes as he continues writing exciting and thrilling stories to bring Zeus and Athena and Poseidon and Demeter and all the mythological characters come alive in a delightful pet store.
These books are just so much fun. Kids will love them and grown-ups will get to join in the laugh-out-loud hijinks that take place. Not only do these books make history interesting, they are also about learning how to work together as a team. And Crispin is such a great writer that it all flows together like a magical sea of words.
