Cyclists Guide to Crime & Croissants by Ann Claire

Bon jour! Get ready for a roadtrip. Travel with USA TODAY bestselling author, ANN CLAIRE to the South of France.

Ann’s recent release, CYCLISTS GUIDE TO CRIME & CROISSANTS, is the first in what I predict is going to be a long-running series. I’ve read many of the books in her Bookmobile Mystery and Santa Fe Café series, but I think this new one is very special. I love the South of France and Ann has captured the sights, sounds, and food of the lovely countryside.

Ann Claire has created a high-spirited and plucky amateur sleuth, who has thrown herself into the life of an ex-pat. And now the owner of her own business. For Sadie Greene this is a big change. Readers will enjoy as they imagine themselves taking on the challenges of such a big change. They will admire Sadie as she launches her bike-tour business. We feel so happy for a woman who was stuck in a corporate world and now finds herself in the South of France. She has so much to discover. So much to taste and, yes, we get lots of food and wine references. And her first tour group is an eclectic assortment of cyclists who come to life and death as Ann Claire takes the readers on a breathtaking trip through the South of France.

Ann Claire is a fine writer. Clever with words and with plots. Great pacing. Like the Tour de France, this is Ann’s tour de force. Beautifully paced.

Grab a croissant and a latte. This is a delicious read!

About the Book:

Vicariously tour the sun-drenched Mediterranean Coast in this perfectly escapist new cozy mystery series starring American expat-turned-bike tour company owner in Southern France.

Nine months ago, Sadie Greene shocked friends and family by ditching her sensible office job in the Chicago suburbs and buying a sight-unseen French bicycling tour company, Oui Cycle. Now she’s living the unconventional life of her dreams in the gorgeous village of Sans-Souci-sur-Mer. Sans souci means carefree, but Sadie feels enough pressure to burst a tire when hometown friends arrive for a tour, including her former boss, Dom Appleton. Sadie is determined to show them the wonders of France and cycling—and to prove she made the right move.

She hopes her meticulously planned nine-day itinerary will win them over, with its stunning seascapes, delicious wine tastings, hilltop villages, and, of course, frequent stops for croissants. When Dom drags his heels on fun, Sadie vows he’ll enjoy if it kills her. That is, until Dom ends up dead. The tragedy was no accident. Someone went out of their way to bring a permanent end to Dom’s vacation.
