This was such a great interview–I loved talking to Alvin Hall and Sarah Wassner Flynn about Not-So-Common Cents: Super Duper Imporant Facts About Money You Can’t Afford to Miss. This is a NatGeo Kids book and it is terrific. Sarah did a ton of god research into every aspect of money–and written about it with such enthusiasm that everyone at any age will enjoy it. As always with anything NatGeo does, the photography is gorgeous, the paper is superb, and the book a treasure–which is appropriate for a fascinating look at money. And then as if that wasn’t enough, we have Alvin Hall. He is amazing! So smart and he has a great voice. Like me, he is a farm kid. We grew up without money–it was a big deal to collect enough pennies to buy a comic or a candy bar. (Sadly, nowadays you have to collect dollars to buy a candy bar!) He shares lots of insights into–how to keep it, how to grow it, how to figure it all out. I’m going to invite him back to Joy on Paper to talk about some of his other books. You will enjoy this interview! I did….

ABOUT THE BOOK
