Give Fudge a Chance by Nancy Coco

What a tasty treat! A delightful cozy mystery set on Mackinac Island. It was so much fun to talk to Nancy Coco about the 11th book in her Candy Coated Mystery series: GIVE FUDGE HAVE A CHANCE.

As a Yooper it was always fun to take the ferry over to Mackinac Island for the Lilac Festival and–for us kids–the fudge. In Give Fudge Have a Chance we find our intrepid sleuth, Allie McMurphy, entering the annual fudge competition. It’s a big deal at the County Fair–lots of fun for all. Except for a dead body. Can Allie concentrate on her prize winning fudge? Or does she have to swing into action before there is another body?

If you haven’t been to Mackinac Island, then put it on your “Joy List” of the places you must visit. It’s such a very special place. No cars on the island! Just horse-drawn carriages and bikes.  A real last to the past. The island smells of fudge and flowers.

Nancy Coco is the perfect name for this cozy author who includes great recipes in her books.

Another great cover from Kensington.
