This is one of my favorite interviews–put two girls from Detroit together and you can be sure we will have fun! So it was pure JOY to talk to Deborah Goodrich Royce about her extraordinary new thriller: Reef Road. Her writing is so vivid and compelling that readers will understand why she has been crowned the “Queen of Plot Twists”* Reef Road was inspired by the murder of her mother’s best friend over fifty years ago and Deborah has pulled out all the stops in weaving this cold case into the mystery about a husband who goes missing during the pandemic.
